Overview
The Senior Living Center Experience Associate is an individual who assists with the daily social, physical, emotional, vocational, educational, and spiritual needs of the residents under the direction of the Experience Specialist. Associate is responsible for writing monthly newsletter articles and submitting regularly to social media. Creating personal experiences with residents. Encouraging resident participation in daily activities. Leading daily activities such as exercise, crafts, cooking ect.
Responsibilities
PART III: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Accompanies residents to outside functions.Actively researches material to contribute new ideas for activities and events.Assesses resident needs for different activities.Assists with planning, setting up various activities.Copies and distributes various literature regarding scheduled events.Decorates facility seasonally.Effective use of technology to enhance resident experiences. Provide ongoing training and support for residents and families.Encourage resident participation in all activities.Facilitate and help organize various activities for the residents of SLC.
Qualifications
Experience/Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Work, Excel and Publisher.
License or Certification Requirements:
Valid Illinois Driver's License, Evidence of driving record will be required to meet insurability in Riverside's insurance program
CPR certification preferred/required within 90 days of hire.
