What does a Resident Services Director (also known as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professinal, QIDP) do? Develops, implements, and reviews the individuals' program plans and progress Plans and participates in support meetings and activities for the individuals Maintains an open line of communication with supervisors and staff team Completes audits of individual case files, maintain case files, and ensure appointments and documentation are completed on schedule Directly supervises direct care staff team and manage staff scheduling Responsible for staff on-the-job training on an on-going basis Completes weekly and monthly home supply orders within budget Serves as a liaison to families/guardians, contracted programs, and the community Excellent
